Beauty has many meanings, many faces, infinite opinions, and a powerful influence on the world. We, at Dermaliscio, have studied the concept of how the world puts beauty high on a pedestal that it often disregards health or safety to achieve. You see, humans love the concept of beauty, making things pretty, and surrounding ourselves with things we find attractive.
Yet, we always believed beauty came with a price. We try our best to achieve that form of beauty but push back against what keeps us going, our health.
Traveling to the past, we see our ancestors paying that price for beauty. The women of the Kayan tribe in Myanmar elongated their necks with braces, leaving them unable to move without them. In Papua New Guinea, tribes used scarification to leave permanent marks on themselves. In Chinese culture, women wore small mold shoes to keep their feet petite.
To this day these ideas run through the veins of our society, starving ourselves to look good, and altering our faces to stay young.
All in the name of beauty.
As a society, we still find ourselves going through extreme measures to achieve beauty which has become a major challenge in our industry. It is a risk that puts our minds, bodies, and souls in harm’s way just to hear those heartwarming words, “You look beautiful.”
Established in the European region of southern Switzerland and northern Italy, Dermaliscio is following the path of discovering the needs of the beauty world. We believe that confidence in beauty comes with a healthy mindset because, to us, beauty is freeing. Founded by a trio of sisters, Ruaa, Shahed, and Dana, Natural Glow pioneered a range of empowering products designed to embrace a person’s natural beauty. With Shahed’s expertise in managing the company’s administration and manufacturing, Natural Glow grew to become a prominent leader in skin and hair care. Collectively, the brand successfully crafted formulas to resonate with customers, sparking a wave of self-confidence and self-care for everyone across the globe.
